Did you know that weighing less can save you money? (it can also save you life- but that is a teaser for an upcoming blog)

In my endless research to back our products up and to also bring readers an objective and both sides of the fence point of vie (oh pardon me, that was habit- should read view), I find all kinds of fun (and not so fun) facts and insights to health.  Just a bit on me and why I am on this kick...well my mother was a nurse- so health was important to me, my Fiance Dom (the other 1/2 of Healthy 4 Life with Monavie) is also very invested in health as both his mom and sister are Cancer survivors and his mom is also a nurse.

Though this specific blog is not about cancer, it is about weight loss.  As I read more and more I find myself baffled by the statistics I read from reputable sources on obesity, diabetes, etc... Diseases that can be preventable, but if untreated can lead to so many other costly, and when I say costly I mean you can pay with your life, diseases like cardiovascular disease among many others.  Yet I continue to read and see that the numbers are not going down, they are only increasing worse yet, they are affecting our youth.  That to me is even saddest!

We often find ourselves at events talking to people who need assistance with their weight, or we read their posts about their yo-yo diet woes and offer our assistance but at times get turned down.  This happens for a variety of reasons, lack of real commitment, if they actually do something about it they will have nothing to complain about, they have not mastered that stage of development in their life where they understand that there are things outside of their control, but their body, health and weight is one they can control, or cost (my apologies had a flashback of my days in the Counseling program).  Cost is one of those that are a sensitive issue because people have a hard time with money and boy do people get testy when it comes to money, especially their money.

So this time I will let this amazing infographic do all the talking.

So if saving money, being healthy and preventing disease is something that appeals to you this is the way to go.  This is not a diet, this is a lifestyle, a diet is something you do for a short period of time and then you stop, this is a commitment you make to transform your body into a better you that is healthy inside and out!  That IS what MonaVie and their products are about, bringing you a more Meaningful Life! Join our team, become the best you there is, so you can give that best you to the world for many years to come!

Jacob Palmer's Weight loss Journey with MonaVie

We met Jacob through networking, after all that is what we do, we get together with others who have the same goals as we do and share the same passion as we do and get to know one another.

"My name is Jacob Palmer, I am 29 years old from Oregon.  I have been a distributor with MonaVie for ten months, but my journey started about 5 or 6 years ago when I tried working out on my own and lost 25 pounds. At this time I weighed 344 and experienced the common yo-yo effect for years until one day, and I remember the date exactly, on July 21st, 2012 my good friend from high school David Cox called me about a juice called MonaVie.  A bit skeptical as most people are, I still met with him and his cousin Scott. He told me his story and it was almost identical to mine, so I decided to give it a try.  I drank the juice and noticed I had more energy and was not fatigued- this gave me some motivation so the following week I became a distributor.  Besides the energy increase I noticed that my gout pain had become non existing!
It is neat to have Mark Macdonald as our fitness and nutrition expert.  I follow his blood sugar stabilization teachings and exercise.  My routine consists drinking 2 oz of MonaVie Juice in the morning, a sensible meal, 3 hours later another sensible meal, 3 hours later a RVL Nutrition Shake (as you can see to keep my blood sugar stable I eat in 3 hour intervals), 3 hours later a sensible meal, 3 hours later another sensible meal, 3 hours later a RVL Nutrition Shake, after work an EMV light (that is the all natural light version of their energy drink), then its off to do some exercise   I do 30 minutes in the treadmill everyday and before bed I drink 2 oz of MonaVie Juice. As you can see from my story that before MonaVie I gained and I lost and yo-yo'ed and through all that and with the help of their products and experts on hand i have reached a steady weight loss of 52 pounds and still improving.  The following pictures are of me a year ago and 2 weeks ago.  I tell you all this to say a few things, do not be afraid to try something new, do not be afraid to change your life for the better, no matter what income you may have you can afford this...a bag of Doritos costs more than an RVL Nutrition Shake and it's not good for you, nor can you make a meal out of it and it is ok to lose weight slowly because everyone's body responds to weight loss differently.
